Ezequiel Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Clark Kent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Anaya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Dijoux went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nuno Cardoso got free with Clark Kent in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clark Kent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Pereira in the 15th minute of the match. With a little luck, Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent got control of the ball when Ezequiel Pereira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zorros del Desierto's Alex Dijoux got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuno Cardoso came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Clark Kent could save by the left post. In the 25th minute Lobo Guará were awarded a corner. Nando Barbosa went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 27th minute Alex Dijoux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Anaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Nuno Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lobo Guará's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clark Kent breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clark Kent made an important save on a dangerous shot by Glauco Tasso in the 34th minute. Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glauco Tasso in the 40th minute of play. Ezequiel Pereira struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Clark Kent didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lobo Guará. 45 minutes into the match, Nuno Cardoso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clark Kent. Zorros del Desierto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nuno Cardoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alex Dijoux to strike the kick off in the second half. Clark Kent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Clark Kent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Pereira in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute Alex Dijoux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Anaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Pereira came free, but Clark Kent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clark Kent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glauco Tasso in the 63rd minute of the match. Lobo Guará's Glauco Tasso got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lobo Guará's Kerimhan Özonder was substituted for Glauco Tasso. Zorros del Desierto's Zenaido Oviedo was substituted for Pape Lillo. In the 72nd minute, Ezequiel Pereira made a precise shot to the right of Clark Kent. Zorros del Desierto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 77 minutes of play, Lobo Guará's Sancar Gazel made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clark Kent was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd minute, Ciro de Moraes made a precise shot to the right of Clark Kent. Zorros del Desierto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After 89 minutes of play, Zorros del Desierto's Quique Cordoba made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Anaya was left in no man's land by his defense there! 93 minutes into the match, Lobo Guará's Ciro de Moraes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clark Kent narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Quique Cordoba succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-3. Zorros del Desierto's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
