Spectators: 10300 (Terracing: 7725, Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Poland's Konstanty Janiczek started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Poland's Izydor Plucinik slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Enrique Enoch. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. Enrique Enoch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwan Kasiewski in the 12th minute of the match. After 13 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iwan Kasiewski who took care of the corner kick. Enrique Enoch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstanty Janiczek in the 17th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Iwan Kasiewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Enoch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Kieca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ervigio Ojeda in the 24th minute of play. Radomil Michnik got a throw-in 28 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gilbert Cipinski. Chile's attentive Filomeno Olivos managed to snatch the ball when Lech Pisarcik made a throw-in in the 31st minute of the game. Filomeno Olivos hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Mendiola in the 34th minute of play forced Poland's goalkeeper Daniel Kieca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Kieca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Talvik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Juan Ramírez fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chile's protests and gave Juan Ramírez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute Peter Talvik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Kieca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Poland made a substitution. Tadeusz Raschke replaced Gilbert Cipinski. Grzegorz Soszka kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Daniel Kieca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogelio Mendiola in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Talvik in the 60th minute of play forced Poland's goalkeeper Daniel Kieca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Enoch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Grom in the 63rd minute of play. Chile's Enrique Enoch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslaw Rydz in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Poland's Leonard Winszman got a free kick in the 70th minute. Chile made a substitution. Carlo Darrigrande replaced Ervigio Ojeda. Chile's Alfonso Goicoechea was substituted for Rogelio Mendiola. The supporters of Chile booed when Poland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Winszman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 played minutes, Chile's Bautista Marcó shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daniel Kieca came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chile reached it. After a rather tough play, Poland's Lech Pisarcik got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Enrique Enoch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nike Cavia, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Enrique Enoch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nike Cavia in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute of the match Poland got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Radomil Michnik ran over to the corner to take the kick. Enrique Enoch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izydor Plucinik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 83 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Radomil Michnik who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Radomil Michnik got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Enrique Enoch quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nike Cavia in the 92nd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Enrique Enoch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlo Darrigrande took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Kieca. Daniel Kieca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
