Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kyle Davies started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rocco Owen to maneuver through the defense. If Kyle Davies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Atletico San Jacopino's Elia Barberio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Elia Barberio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico San Jacopino's supporters rose to their feet, but Elia Barberio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Barrett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elia Barberio in the 17th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 minutes of play, Atletico San Jacopino's Adriano Vieri made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elia Barberio's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Elia Barberio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Barrett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Kyle Davies fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guglielmo Vicario having to interfere. With a little luck, Curacao's Bruno Barrett got control of the ball when Arrigo Limitone tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elia Barberio, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. If Kyle Davies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonso Casadei hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute of the match, Adriano Vieri got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bruno Barrett was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 45 minutes, Elia Barberio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico San Jacopino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elia Barberio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elia Barberio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Charles Cox got a free kick in the 51st minute. Alfonso Rotili took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bruno Barrett. Curacao's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Atletico San Jacopino booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rocco Owen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adriano Vieri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elia Barberio scored 3-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rocco Owen was shown his second yellow card after 60 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 61st match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rocco Owen to maneuver through the defense. After 65 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Bertie Johnson. After 66 played minutes, Atletico San Jacopino's Alfonso Rotili shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bruno Barrett came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atletico San Jacopino reached it. With 69 minutes on the clock, Charles Cox commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 69th match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Cox to maneuver through the defense. Atletico San Jacopino's Carmine Mameli was substituted for Franco Capone. The supporters of Atletico San Jacopino booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Cox didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute Elia Barberio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Atletico San Jacopino getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Elia Barberio hit a great ball. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elia Barberio in the 78th minute of the match. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arrigo Limitone in the 83rd minute of play. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico San Jacopino's Elia Barberio. But to his dismay, Elia Barberio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elia Barberio in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Barrett saved Curacao from getting behind. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elia Barberio in the 95th minute of play.
