Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Özgün Hatip sent off a good shot on target. 5 minutes into the match, Özgün Hatip dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro, 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Özgün Hatip notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Christian Sancho hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Özgün Hatip kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomil Mroczynski in the 18th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Radomil Mroczynski made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Özgün Hatip got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Galapagos Islands FC fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Galapagos Islands FC's Özgün Hatip looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Lautaro Navarro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 46 minutes in the game Gösta Lönn did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Boris Marsac. 47 minutes into the game, Radomil Mroczynski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro. Radomil Mroczynski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.
