Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) An unexpectedly hard shot by Larry Ferrell in the 7th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ged Nightingale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luz Tejedor to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Larry Ferrell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ged Nightingale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Larry Ferrell came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ged Nightingale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabricio Enekoitz got free with Rolando Noboa in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabricio Enekoitz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. In the 35th minute Fabricio Enekoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ged Nightingale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ged Nightingale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Larry Ferrell came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Arrows Academy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Ged Nightingale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Arrows Academy FC's zone, Luz Tejedor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ged Nightingale came out of the goal and Luz Tejedor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ged Nightingale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arrows Academy FC's goalkeeper Ged Nightingale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 63rd minute of play forced Arrows Academy FC's goalkeeper Ged Nightingale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Peru's Julian Murillo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ged Nightingale. That made the score 0-1 after 65 minutes of play. Arrows Academy FC's Ged Nightingale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Arrows Academy FC from getting a goal against them. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Ged Nightingale made a huge save. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arrows Academy FC's goalkeeper Ged Nightingale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. The throw-in from Danny Bartlett in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Peru were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Arrows Academy FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliseo Mina took the corner. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Alonso Berganza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ged Nightingale quite easily take care of the ball. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Enekoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's attentive Efraim Gilabert managed to snatch the ball when Danny Bartlett made a throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game. Grzegorz Piechna might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Grzegorz Piechna ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 98th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Eliseo Mina went to the cornerflag to take it. Antonio Tenorio made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Arrows Academy FC's Ged Nightingale managed to reach the ball for a save. The Arrows Academy FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
