Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Belcho Hlebarov made the kick off and thus started the match. ЦСКА's Anzhelo Gerushin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 3rd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Lautaro Navarro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ivan Navarro hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Belcho Hlebarov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anzhelo Gerushin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Belcho Hlebarov tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute, ЦСКА's Belcho Hlebarov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 26 played minutes ЦСКА got a freekick which was hit by Stoimen Dipchikov. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belcho Hlebarov in the 32nd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Belcho Hlebarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Toncho Súrbinski fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ЦСКА's protests and gave Toncho Súrbinski a yellow card for diving instead. Toncho Súrbinski hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 54th minute of play forced ЦСКА's goalkeeper Anzhelo Gerushin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Belcho Hlebarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nedelcho Petlichkov charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nedelcho Petlichkov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, ЦСКА's Nedelcho Petlichkov got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Belcho Hlebarov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th match minute, ЦСКА was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belcho Hlebarov to maneuver through the defense. Anzhelo Gerushin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Tafalla in the 81st minute of play. Moises Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anzhelo Gerushin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Moises Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. 85 minutes into the match, Honduras's Sebastian Villa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anzhelo Gerushin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Honduras's Edmundo Espiga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anzhelo Gerushin. That made the score 1-1 after 87 minutes of play. Anzhelo Gerushin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute of the match Honduras got a corner. ЦСКА's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Espiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anzhelo Gerushin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Honduras were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
