Olgierd Walczak came out of the goal and Ettore Varglien tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardino Vedillo in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olgierd Walczak saved Fcion C.A. from getting behind. After 19 minutes, Bernardino Vedillo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Fcion C.A.'s Olgierd Walczak tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. PICCOLE PESTI's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Rikard Moberg scored to the left of an out of position Miguel Orlondon, making the score, 2-1. Olgierd Walczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ettore Varglien in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamim Rollheiser in the 33rd minute of play forced PICCOLE PESTI's goalkeeper Miguel Orlondon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute of the match, Benjamim Rollheiser tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Miguel Orlondon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Olgierd Walczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fortunato Brini in the 38th minute of the match. Olgierd Walczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ettore Varglien in the 40th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Miguel Orlondon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Olgierd Walczak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ettore Varglien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardino Vedillo to make the kick off. Miguel Orlondon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamim Rollheiser in the 52nd minute of play. Rikard Moberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PICCOLE PESTI's Per Lidman was substituted for Ettore Varglien. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per Lidman got free with Olgierd Walczak in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute Rikard Moberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Orlondon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fcion C.A.'s Olgierd Walczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Lidman in the 83rd minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Per Lidman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olgierd Walczak. Fcion C.A.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Per Lidman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. PICCOLE PESTI's Angel Berenguer was substituted for Secondo Arshavin. Miguel Orlondon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Muñoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Orlondon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Muñoz in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Donato Dossena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fcion C.A. fully deserved thier win.
