Carmine Villani kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Laurgain in the 11th minute of play forced Molfetta sportiva's goalkeeper Flavio Lavatrice to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 minutes Molfetta sportiva's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Modesto Lehen who took care of the corner kick. Tobias Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Iannone in the 15th minute of the match. Social y Dep. Patagonia's Tobias Faro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ni Liang Yong in the 18th minute of play. Tobias Faro came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Molfetta sportiva's Cesare Di Renzo. But to his dismay, Cesare Di Renzo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When Lázaro Gau fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Social y Dep. Patagonia's protests and gave Lázaro Gau a yellow card for diving instead. Lázaro Gau kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Molfetta sportiva fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! In the 34th minute of the match Social y Dep. Patagonia got a corner. Molfetta sportiva's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Modesto Lehen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Severo Laurgain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Social y Dep. Patagonia's Tobias Faro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Social y Dep. Patagonia from getting a goal against them. Flavio Lavatrice took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Laurgain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobias Faro made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Cesare Di Renzo sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Molfetta sportiva's Tobias Faro threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cesare Di Renzo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesare Di Renzo to make the kick off. Ni Liang Yong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Tobias Faro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The corner led Molfetta sportiva's Domenico Campo to fire away a dangerous shot which Tobias Faro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the Social y Dep. Patagonia defense, Carmine Iannone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobias Faro. The Social y Dep. Patagonia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Faro should have stopped the shot. Flavio Lavatrice took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Laurgain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Molfetta sportiva's Dario Melani was substituted for Cesare Di Renzo. Francisc Bacalbașa's late challenge caught a Social y Dep. Patagonia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisc Bacalbașa helped the player get up and apologised. Natalio Mergildo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Lavatrice having to make a save. 93 minutes into the match, Molfetta sportiva's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Mergildo came free, but Flavio Lavatrice reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 played minutes Social y Dep. Patagonia got a freekick which was hit by Justino Roldanillo. There was no doubt that Molfetta sportiva were the better team. Molfetta sportiva's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
