AQUILES's Angelo Santo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jurgen Goris in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Natalio Guter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jurgen Goris having to make a save. If Natalio Guter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Frank Frankfurter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Grégoire Caamaño went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Frank Frankfurter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ken Anthonis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AQUILES's supporters rose to their feet, but Natalio Guter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jurgen Goris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Everardo Huguet made the kick off in the second half. Natalio Guter took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jurgen Goris. Jurgen Goris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Ken Anthonis hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. AQUILES's Esteban Criston was substituted for Gary Bale. AQUILES's Prospero Fix was substituted for Natalio Guter. After 58 played minutes Wesselbend got a freekick which was hit by Ken Anthonis. Mario Van den Plas kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After 70 minutes of play, AQUILES's Prospero Fix made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jurgen Goris was left in no man's land by his defense there! AQUILES's Giovani Lo Celso was substituted for Pedro Goncalves. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prospero Fix in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jurgen Goris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The AQUILES fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when AQUILES's Prospero Fix looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 82nd minute Prospero Fix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurgen Goris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, one of Wesselbend:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wesselbend. 86 minutes into the game, AQUILES's Prospero Fix nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jurgen Goris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. In the 89th minute Prospero Fix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurgen Goris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Wesselbend booed when AQUILES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Castulo didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that AQUILES were the better team. AQUILES's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
