In the 5th minute Rocco Owen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Ahlén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanley Wallace sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Vjsk Youth Brooklyn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 34 minutes into the game, Mehmet Öztürk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 39 minutes into the game, Vjsk Youth Brooklyn's Mehmet Öztürk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 42nd minute, Mehmet Öztürk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After having played for 45 minutes, Zenon Drzewucki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vjsk Youth Brooklyn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zenon Drzewucki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kyle Davies stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Vito Vilanova had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. One of Curacao:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vjsk Youth Brooklyn:s goal. In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Vjsk Youth Brooklyn. Bekan Ibatov stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bruno Barrett. 9-0. In the 63rd minute, Kyle Davies ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Max Ahlén was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-1. 71 minutes into the match, Mehmet Öztürk notched a goal, 10-1, to the right of Curacao's Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mehmet Öztürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 78 minutes into the game, Mehmet Öztürk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-1. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vito Vilanova recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vito Vilanova in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Barrett saved Curacao from getting behind. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito Vilanova, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
