In the 47th minute Davi Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Keltrin Laçka during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th match minute, KF RAHOVECI 1931 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keltrin Laçka to maneuver through the defense. KF RAHOVECI 1931's Carlos Luna was substituted for Davi Sanches. After a rather tough play, KF RAHOVECI 1931's Carlos Luna got a free kick in the 74th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tuste Palacios in the 88th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Tuste Palacios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Petras Anusauskas was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 4-3. When the referee blew the final whistle, KF RAHOVECI 1931 could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
