Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Leonard Treppa sped through Chile's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. In the 6thth minute of the game Leonard Treppa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leonard Treppa came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Thiago Pliego could save by the left post. Leonard Treppa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. In the 14th minute Tirant lo Blanch were awarded a corner. Pitin Vallejo went to the cornerflag to take it. Tirant lo Blanch's Pitin Vallejo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thiago Pliego in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Tirant lo Blanch's Leonard Treppa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thiago Pliego. That made the score 2-1 after 16 minutes of play. Leonard Treppa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. In the 22nd match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Garrido to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonard Treppa in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Thiago Pliego was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Leonard Treppa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonard Treppa really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. A sloppy throw-in by Bernardo España in the 40th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Chile's Felix Garrido. Kamal Pahlevi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Kamal Pahlevi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Tamayo to maneuver through the defense. Leonard Treppa struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tirant lo Blanch. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonard Treppa made a kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th minute Tirant lo Blanch were awarded a corner. Pitin Vallejo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Tirant lo Blanch's Pitin Vallejo to fire away a dangerous shot which Thiago Pliego despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Kamal Pahlevi in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kamal Pahlevi saved Tirant lo Blanch from getting behind. Tirant lo Blanch's Leonard Treppa got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tirant lo Blanch's Carmen Paniagua was substituted for Leonard Treppa. Kamal Pahlevi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 74th minute of play. Kamal Pahlevi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Casaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After having played for 84 minutes, Carmen Paniagua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tirant lo Blanch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmen Paniagua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Felix Garrido hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Carmen Paniagua ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Tirant lo Blanch's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
