Noel Seide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Dabi in the 52nd minute of the match. Ildefonso Gumaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Alphonse in the 55th minute of play. DEPORTIVO NAHUEL's Ildefonso Gumaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. DEPORTIVO NAHUEL from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Philippe Ambroise managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haiti's supporters rose to their feet, but Philippe Ambroise was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ildefonso Gumaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ernso Constant charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernso Constant the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes Haiti got a freekick which was hit by Ernso Constant. After a defensive mix-up in Haiti's zone, Agustin Burni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Seide came out of the goal and Agustin Burni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haiti's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
