Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Germano Pernambucano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Anaia Barba reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 15th minute Mexilhão F. C. were awarded a corner. Anaia Barba went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Germano Pernambucano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. After 19 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Intxixu Porregimon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Mexilhão F. C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Intxixu Porregimon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Intxixu Porregimon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play. After 31 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Intxixu Porregimon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper Intxixu Porregimon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Intxixu Porregimon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Cristian Sancho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Intxixu Porregimon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Mexilhão F. C.'s Intxixu Porregimon got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. C.'s goalkeeper Intxixu Porregimon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Intxixu Porregimon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Mexilhão F. C. defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Intxixu Porregimon. The Mexilhão F. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Intxixu Porregimon should have stopped the shot. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Intxixu Porregimon having to interfere. Intxixu Porregimon made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Mexilhão F. C.'s Intxixu Porregimon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 85th minute of play. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Intxixu Porregimon made a huge save.
