In the 19th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Canal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Villawalter City getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Waclaw Rosiewicz hit a great ball. Antonio Canal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Agustín Saelices struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Antonio Canal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Villawalter City's Coronel Revuelta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 40 minutes into the match, Villawalter City's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Antonio Canal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Canal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 43 played minutes Villawalter City got a freekick which was hit by Waclaw Rosiewicz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of play forced Villawalter City's goalkeeper Antonio Canal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot by Daniel Zorita from long distance, 59 minutes into the match, got Antonio Canal's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Antonio Canal made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Coronel Revuelta, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The audience was convinced that Coronel Revuelta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Villawalter City's Antonio Canal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Villawalter City from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Villawalter City's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mino Puig in the 88th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 94 minutes into the game, when Juan Sebastián Puig put in a rough tackle. In the 94th minute, one of Ecuador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ecuador. Ecuador played a much better game than Villawalter City and deserved their victory. The Villawalter City players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
