In the 57th minute of the match, Simão Rosado tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lev Yashin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lilla Jordberga BK's Lennart Johansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Roig in the 59th minute of play. Lev Yashin made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Jorge Mendiko sent off a good shot on target. 66 minutes into the match, Conjunto Paisa's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas-Jan Thomas came free, but Lev Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
