Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edin Džeko took the kick off in the first half of the match. Walmir Cunha took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stefan Wrobel. Stefan Wrobel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 9th minute Kai van de Sand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Washington Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Jens Krammer scored to the left of an out of position Washington Carneiro, making the score, 2-1. In the 13th minute, Jens Krammer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's goal looked a bit too open when Kai van de Sand came free, but Washington Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. U21 Austria were furious when Hergen Hergt was red carded, 18 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Washington Carneiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robin Schriebl went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 28 minutes into the match, U21 Austria's goal looked a bit too open when Ademir Costa came free, but Stefan Wrobel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jens Krammer in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Washington Carneiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jens Krammer took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Washington Carneiro. Washington Carneiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. U21 Austria's Stefan Wrobel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Cunha in the 40th minute of play. Washington Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Schriebl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute of the match, Thorsten Lingemann tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Washington Carneiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 45 minutes into the game, Jens Krammer lined in a short shot 5-1 behind a frustrated Washington Carneiro.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walmir Cunha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thorsten Lingemann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Washington Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Jens Krammer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Washington Carneiro. Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jens Krammer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Stefan Wrobel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademir Costa in the 60th minute of the match. Washington Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens Krammer in the 62nd minute of play. After 63 minutes, Jens Krammer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Austria and the Palmitos Futebol Clube SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, U21 Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens Krammer to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kai van de Sand in the 65th minute of play forced Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's goalkeeper Washington Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Washington Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens Krammer in the 68th minute of the match. U21 Austria's Stefan Wrobel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save U21 Austria from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the match, Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's goal looked a bit too open when Jens Krammer came free, but Washington Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Jens Krammer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Austria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. Durval Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Wrobel having to interfere. Washington Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Haase in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute Jens Krammer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Washington Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Washington Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Haase in the 90th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Durval Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Durval Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefan Wrobel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the game, Walmir Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Austria the free kick. The supporters of U21 Austria booed when Palmitos Futebol Clube SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmir Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 8-1 when Jan Haase sped through Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Washington Carneiro.
