In the 65th minute, Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's Walmir Cunha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stefan Wrobel. Stefan Wrobel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. Jens Krammer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Washington Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's goal looked a bit too open when Kai van de Sand came free, but Washington Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Washington Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kai van de Sand, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Palmitos Futebol Clube SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan Haase was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1.
