Edin Cocalić took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rosario Escarza. LVCVS AVGVSTI's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 9th minute Ronny Skytt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Kiepski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led to LVCVS AVGVSTI's Baldomero Chano getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Rosario Escarza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tevez in the 13th minute of play. Venancio Olayo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Emil Kiepski made a huge save. Rosario Escarza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alberto Tevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosario Escarza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernie Gauthier's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. LVCVS AVGVSTI's Rosario Escarza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tevez in the 33rd minute of play. Emil Kiepski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baldomero Chano in the 34th minute. Rosario Escarza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tevez, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rosario Escarza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When LVCVS AVGVSTI's Du Yuan Chao, in the 59th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for LVCVS AVGVSTI. Emil Kiepski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Chano, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. If Baldomero Chano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
