Edgar Motta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Miguel Orlondon. PICCOLE PESTI's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Concordia's Antonio Gar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miguel Orlondon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 26 minutes into the match, PICCOLE PESTI's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Gar came free, but Miguel Orlondon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ettore Varglien's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Agustin Ereinotz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Concordia's Edgard Socorro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Orlondon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as PICCOLE PESTI's Ettore Varglien slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Agustin Ereinotz. That made the score 2-1 after 33 minutes of play. Agustin Ereinotz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ettore Varglien's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute of the match PICCOLE PESTI got a corner. Concordia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Donato Dossena ran over to the corner to take the kick. Donato Dossena made a great header on PICCOLE PESTI's corner, it was just that Concordia's Agustin Ereinotz managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 43 minutes, Ettore Varglien managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PICCOLE PESTI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ettore Varglien was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Dante Hondo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Orlondon was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. 48 minutes into the match, Lobo Ledesma notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of PICCOLE PESTI's Miguel Orlondon. Miguel Orlondon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardino Vedillo to make the kick off. Bernardino Vedillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Ereinotz having to interfere. Per Lidman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Orlondon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Hondo in the 81st minute of play. Miguel Orlondon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serhan Kayaer, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. With his leg Miguel Orlondon managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Concordia's Dante Hondo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 85th minute of the match Concordia got a corner. PICCOLE PESTI's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edgar Motta ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Concordia's corner Edgar Motta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Miguel Orlondon quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Per Lidman during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Per Lidman kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 87 minutes of play, Concordia's Dante Hondo made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Orlondon was left in no man's land by his defense there! 91 minutes into the match, Dante Hondo notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of PICCOLE PESTI's Miguel Orlondon. Miguel Orlondon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edgar Motta hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 95th match minute, Concordia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Mosen to maneuver through the defense. PICCOLE PESTI's Donato Dossena got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agustin Ereinotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Dossena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per Lidman kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. The Concordia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Concordia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
