Pastor Cambraness short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to HISPANO FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Orestis Karnezis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in HISPANO FC's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orestis Karnezis came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orestis Karnezis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 44th minute. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pastor Cambranes got free with Julio Vera in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The wind increased when Migúel Herrera made the kick off in the second half. HISPANO FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Orestis Karnezis, making the score, 0-3. After 65 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. 66 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Migúel Herrera came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orestis Karnezis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orestis Karnezis having to make a save. 俞亮岩's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain.
