Pastor Cambranes might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pastor Cambranes ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilmer Davison hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Pastor Cambranes took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Dante Lacasa to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Luca Rouco hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when 俞亮岩 got free with Dante Lacasa in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Migúel Herrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 俞亮岩 hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Orestis Karnezis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. After 58 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Tafalla. After 65 minutes, Migúel Herrera made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd match minute, HISPANO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Migúel Herrera to maneuver through the defense. Orestis Karnezis was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Lautaro Mancebo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lautaro Mancebo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. Orestis Karnezis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. Landon Gordon's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Landon Gordon helped the player get up and apologised. Landon Gordon kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Orestis Karnezis in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
