The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 17th minute, Jeremias Mark ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Buğrahan Vecih had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Buğrahan Vecih was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Christophe Rau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 24th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Buğrahan Vecih sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the match, Talenti Roma Calcio's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Christophe Rau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Buğrahan Vecih fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Jeremias Mark blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Cotilla having to make a save. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Panama reached it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Piretti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Mark in the 54th minute of play. Christophe Rau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 63rd minute of play. The supporters of Talenti Roma Calcio booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dylan Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th match minute, Talenti Roma Calcio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Di Sipio to maneuver through the defense. Alex Cambeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Christophe Rau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Jeremias Mark notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabiano Palmucci in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. After 96 minutes Panama's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Celso Bibiano who took care of the corner kick. Talenti Roma Calcio's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
