Klevis Selvia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the match, K.F TIRANA's goal looked a bit too open when Frai Shehu came free, but Vasco Lucena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 13 minutes on the clock, Dashi Çorbaxhiu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. U21 Albania:s Parid Veliaj showed great skill when he stopped Coronel Durango:s penalty. After some careless play in the U21 Albania defense, Coronel Durango kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Parid Veliaj. The U21 Albania fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Parid Veliaj should have stopped the shot. Vasco Lucena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dhori Zhobro's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Sefedin Gjyle kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Coronel Durango shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Parid Veliaj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Remigiusz Pryputnicki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Erald Spahiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vegard Helmersen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the K.F TIRANA defense, Dhori Zhobro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vasco Lucena. The K.F TIRANA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vasco Lucena should have stopped the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remigiusz Pryputnicki was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vegard Helmersen got free with Parid Veliaj in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vasco Lucena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dhori Zhobro in the 59th minute of play. Dhori Zhobro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vegard Helmersen's late challenge caught a U21 Albania's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vegard Helmersen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute, Vegard Helmersen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, U21 Albania's goal looked a bit too open when Remigiusz Pryputnicki came free, but Parid Veliaj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Klevis Selvia came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the U21 Albania fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klevis Selvia couldn't finish the play. Vasco Lucena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dhori Zhobro, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. K.F TIRANA's Vasco Lucena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klevis Selvia in the 72nd minute of play. When U21 Albania's Dhori Zhobro in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
