Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sebastian Käller made the kick off which started today's match. Estonia's Helmut Tõnuri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Käller in the 4th minute of play. Helmut Tõnuri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Käller, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Isak Jacobsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaanus Uustalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sweden's Sebastian Käller in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Estonia's goalie prevented a goal. After 14 minutes Estonia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joacim Hansson who took care of the corner kick. Sweden's Fredric Hybbert was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Helmut Tõnuri in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jarmo Paukson made in the 19th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rauno Lang immediately put the ball in play. Sebastian Käller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 25 played minutes Estonia got a freekick which was hit by Otto Tenno. 29 minutes into the match, Sweden's goalkeeper Isak Jacobsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Otto Tenno. If Sebastian Käller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sweden's Douglas Västberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Andro Kungla, made in the 34th minute of the game. After 38 minutes, Ott Eelmäe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estonia and the Sweden players grew even worse after the yellow card. 38 minutes into the game, one of Estonia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Sweden a penalty, 40 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jörgen Levander, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Estonia's Helmut Tõnuri. 0-1. Helmut Tõnuri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredric Hybbert in the 44th minute of play. The Estonia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sweden were winning 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaanus Uustalo made a kick off. Einar Hedström struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Helmut Tõnuri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sweden. In the 55thth minute of the game Jörgen Levander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estonia's Helmut Tõnuri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 57th minute Jörgen Levander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmut Tõnuri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Einar Hedström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Estonia made a substitution. Rauno Koba replaced Andro Kungla. Helmut Tõnuri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörgen Levander in the 69th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Sweden's goal looked a bit too open when J.P. Thanks to some nice moves Ivar Lindqvist could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Helmut Tõnuri however easily saved by the left post. Sweden's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joacim Hansson in the 89th minute. The corner ended in Jörgen Levander almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Estonia's Helmut Tõnuri did a great save. Sweden's Jörgen Levander was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 89th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When the match was over Sweden could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Estonia throughout the match.
