A beautiful save bye RED BLUE STAR's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 34 minutes, Grigore Buzgar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RED BLUE STAR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grigore Buzgar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, Alfonso de la Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Eugen Pânzariu came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Bolivia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Victor Răcănel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The RED BLUE STAR players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bolivia were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Fernandino to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Bolivia booed when RED BLUE STAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vintilă Ilie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Pânzariu in the 79th minute of play. Eduardo Fontirroig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. The supporters of RED BLUE STAR booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso de la Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolae Borcea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 98th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
