Haiti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dedê Figueiredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 20th minute, Dedê Figueiredo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Noel Seide was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 30th match minute, Tapera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Mazza to maneuver through the defense. Noel Seide was a little too slow when Delfim Borges got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 6-0. After 36 played minutes Haiti got a freekick which was hit by Gesner Philippe. But to his dismay, Delfim Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Alphonse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Haiti's Noel Seide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Luz in the 54th minute of play. Noel Seide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Luz in the 56th minute of the match. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 72 minutes of play, Tapera's Vítor Luz made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Noel Seide was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute Vítor Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Haiti getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jean Marie Alcius hit a great ball. Noel Seide didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delfim Borges went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. 82 minutes into the match, Vítor Luz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Noel Seide. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tapera fully deserved thier win.
