From a short distance, Çanakkale's Cristian Boniel, in the 4th minute, tried to place the ball behind Bruno Barrett, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. 4 minutes into the match, Alican Kutlar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alican Kutlar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 8 minutes, Stanley Wallace mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curacao and the Çanakkale players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Stanley Wallace got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute, John Apelkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the game, Rocco Owen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curacao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Çanakkale the free kick. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Rocco Owen hit a great ball. Curacao's Bruno Barrett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Curacao from getting a goal against them. Ferdi Kargin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Davies, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When Salih Kaveloğlu fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Çanakkale's protests and gave Salih Kaveloğlu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Çanakkale getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Salih Kaveloğlu hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Alican Kutlar made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 35th minute, Alican Kutlar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bruno Barrett. The goal made the score 4-0. 40 minutes into the match, Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mansur Başel. Bruno Barrett made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Alican Kutlar sent off a good shot on target. Alican Kutlar came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bruno Barrett could save by the left post. In the 44th match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harvey Doyle to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Barrett was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Osman Ali Ayçetin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 47 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristian Boniel made a kick off. Cristian Boniel scored 6-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 59 minutes into the game, Çanakkale's Mansur Başel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. John Apelkvist hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Boniel in the 68th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Boniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, Cristian Boniel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. Bruno Barrett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Çanakkale were the better team. Çanakkale's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
