Aslan Raci went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Osvaldo Furlan managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 53 minutes, Liboslav Krušina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SLB TELHA and the Fluminense DF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Álvaro Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Goiz in the 77th minute of play. Luiz Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Prudencio Goiz made a precise shot to the right of Álvaro Garcia. SLB TELHA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Álvaro Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Goiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After 88 played minutes SLB TELHA got a freekick which was hit by Luís Ribas. In the 91st minute Prudencio Goiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
