Karim Morientes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carsten Eckstein read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Benicio Larez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rikard Wolff in the 10th minute of the match. Nils-Åke Wickander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Benicio Larez made a huge save. In the 62nd match minute, Real Södertälje was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralf Björk to maneuver through the defense. Real Södertälje's Jakob Källberg was substituted for Birger Hedberg. Real Södertälje's Urki Regalado was substituted for Rikard Wolff. After 90 minutes Valhalla F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Reynaldo Cerezo who took care of the corner kick. In the 92ndth minute of the game Markus Svensson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valhalla F.C.'s Benicio Larez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Izel Ronaldo scored 3-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carsten Eckstein, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the referee blew the final whistle, Valhalla F.C. could leave the field as winners, despite Real Södertälje having more of the ball for most of the match.
