The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulysses Madureira got free with Miguel Ángel Torres in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ariel Leguizamón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dawid Rojek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, LA LUZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Torres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulysses Madureira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Venceslas in the 16th minute of play forced Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Ariel Leguizamón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariel Leguizamón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Venceslas in the 17th minute of the match. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by LA LUZ F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ulysses Madureira was slow to take the kick. During this time Clapham Comets F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Clapham Comets F.C.'s corner Ulysses Madureira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Miguel Ángel Torres quite easily take care of the ball. LA LUZ F.C.'s Miguel Ángel Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kemalettin Torhan in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Kemalettin Torhan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Miguel Ángel Torres. The goal made the score 1-0. Mitchell Godwin scored 2-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel Ángel Torres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of LA LUZ F.C. booed when Clapham Comets F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edson Ventosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ariel Leguizamón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Venceslas in the 34th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mitchell Godwin got free with Miguel Ángel Torres in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the game, Mitchell Godwin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Miguel Ángel Torres. Mitchell Godwin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 43rd minute Dawid Rojek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Leguizamón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kemalettin Torhan scored 4-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel Ángel Torres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Ariel Leguizamón made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Haitz in the 56th minute. Nestoras Kabourakos kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. LA LUZ F.C.'s Loukas Botinos was substituted for Felipe Haitz. The supporters of Clapham Comets F.C. booed when LA LUZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestoras Kabourakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Ángel Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kemalettin Torhan in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilla Açıkalın in the 69th minute of play forced Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Ariel Leguizamón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Clapham Comets F.C.'s zone, Jailson Britto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Leguizamón came out of the goal and Jailson Britto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute Ulysses Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Ángel Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, LA LUZ F.C.'s Atilla Açıkalın nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ariel Leguizamón made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Ariel Leguizamón successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. LA LUZ F.C.'s Jailson Britto managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aaron Rambo in the 96 minute of the game.

The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Clapham Comets F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while LA LUZ F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
