In the 5th minute of the match Andreas Lund sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andréas Linquist skillfully saved the ball. Grêmio Papão de WC's Andréas Linquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stuart Byman in the 14th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, VN Keleler's goal looked a bit too open when Gedeon Káposztás came free, but Velimir Popchev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Doychin Konsulov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andréas Linquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 27 minutes, Gedeon Káposztás managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio Papão de WC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gedeon Káposztás was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. VN Keleler's Velimir Popchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gedeon Káposztás in the 31st minute of play. Ralf Hedvall made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Grêmio Papão de WC's Luiz Paulo Marquez. With a little luck, VN Keleler's Velimir Popchev got control of the ball when Gedeon Káposztás tried to sneak it across the goal line. VN Keleler's Hakkı Kenan Pınar suffered a sore thigh after 37 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Gedeon Káposztás's late challenge caught a VN Keleler's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gedeon Káposztás helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of VN Keleler booed when Grêmio Papão de WC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gedeon Káposztás didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes in the game, Gedeon Káposztás fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Velimir Popchev having to interfere. Andréas Linquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harris Zoolingen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Velimir Popchev made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Gedeon Káposztás sent off a good shot on target. After the first half VN Keleler were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gedeon Káposztás stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, VN Keleler's goal looked a bit too open when Gedeon Káposztás came free, but Velimir Popchev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd match minute, VN Keleler was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doychin Konsulov to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doychin Konsulov got free with Andréas Linquist in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute Gedeon Káposztás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Velimir Popchev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Leme in the 83rd minute of play forced VN Keleler's goalkeeper Velimir Popchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. VN Keleler's Velimir Popchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Rashford in the 86th minute of play. Velimir Popchev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filip Mika's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Grêmio Papão de WC's Andréas Linquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio Papão de WC from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the match, Filip Mika notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of VN Keleler's Velimir Popchev. Velimir Popchev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Neither Grêmio Papão de WC or VN Keleler succeeded in finding a winner during the second half. That meant the players faced another 30 minutes of extra-time.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. VN Keleler's Stuart Byman started the play with the initial kick off. 101 minutes into the match, Grêmio Papão de WC's goal looked a bit too open when Stuart Byman came free, but Andréas Linquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Papão de WC's José Leme got a free kick in the 111th minute. The first half of extra-time was a real thriller. Both teams had created chances, but they were still tied when the whistle blew. The players were able to take a short breather during the short break.

Everyone could clearly see that both Grêmio Papão de WC's and VN Keleler's players was becoming tired in their legs when Grêmio Papão de WC's Marcus Rashford did the kick off in the second half of the overtime. Velimir Popchev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Rashford in the 124th minute of the match. Filip Mika took the ball and in the 125 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Velimir Popchev. Velimir Popchev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Grêmio Papão de WC had won after a very even match.
