The audience thought a goal was coming when İshak Lefter got free with Bruno Barrett in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hasan Baydan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bruno Barrett. Curacao's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. İshak Lefter succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 46th playminute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyle Davies was the one to do the kick off. In the 84th minute Kyle Davies shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazhar Laçin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Troy Kennedy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 87 minutes, Serdar Yaltır mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ÇaTaPaT and the Curacao players grew even worse after the yellow card. Serdar Yaltır hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. If Kyle Davies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orhan Veli Sanat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ÇaTaPaT fans cheered their team off the field, for while Curacao had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
