Noel Seide was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Jean Claude Ulysse fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haiti's protests and gave Jean Claude Ulysse a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Haiti getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Jean Claude Ulysse hit a great ball. A hard shot by László Tihanyi from long distance, 34 minutes into the match, got Noel Seide's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, László Tihanyi took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Noel Seide to make any attempt to save it. Haiti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Capuozzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. In the 72nd minute László Tihanyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Haiti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noel Seide should have stopped the shot.
