Juliusz Klewinski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Bruno Barrett made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Krzysztof Gaszynski took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Bruno Barrett to make any attempt to save it. Bruno Barrett was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Wieslaw Klawke. In the 17th minute, Emil Patora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harvey Doyle's late challenge caught a Kiepscy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harvey Doyle helped the player get up and apologised. Krzysztof Gaszynski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Krzysztof Gaszynski struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kiepscy. In the 35th minute, Lucjan Cichowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugeniusz Klejnowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rocco Owen in the 36th minute of the match. Curacao's Rocco Owen got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Kiepscy's goal looked a bit too open when Stanley Wallace came free, but Eugeniusz Klejnowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Krzysztof Gaszynski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Gaszynski came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Krzysztof Gaszynski to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Kiepscy booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harvey Doyle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Lucjan Cichowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kiepscy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juliusz Klewinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kiepscy's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
