Curacao's Bruno Barrett tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Ramirez came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Ernesto de Souza took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Bruno Barrett to make any attempt to save it. The nice shot from Ernesto de Souza in the 41stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Bruno Barrett had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benicio Ramirez in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Barrett saved Curacao from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Niceto Izel scored 7-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. Bruno Barrett didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Los pibitos de mardel's Benicio Ramirez shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 10-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Ramirez in the 69th minute of play. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 91st play minutes Benicio Ramirez shot 15-0, a short shot which went by Bruno Barrett and just under the crossbar into goal. When Harvey Doyle fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curacao's protests and gave Harvey Doyle a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, one of Curacao:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Curacao. In the 99th minute, Benicio Ramirez made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 17-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Los pibitos de mardel had played much better football throughout.
