In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Frente Revolucionario F.C's goalkeeper Humberto Quirós, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Albino Zenteno hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Duda Barbosa came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Anton Björnberg could save by the left post. In the 14th minute Rickard Erserman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Quirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute of the game Américo Paredes made a throw-in which Totín Morris played forward. In the 18th minute Inter de Chillán were awarded a corner. Tobías Izamit went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Rickard Erserman advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-3 in the 18th minute. Humberto Quirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rickard Erserman in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Rickard Erserman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Quirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frente Revolucionario F.C's Humberto Quirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Erserman in the 29th minute of play. Inter de Chillán's Anton Björnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duda Barbosa in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Rickard Erserman made a precise shot to the right of Humberto Quirós. Frente Revolucionario F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Duda Barbosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Duda Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Björnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inter de Chillán's Anton Björnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duda Barbosa in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Rickard Erserman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter de Chillán's supporters rose to their feet, but Rickard Erserman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Quirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute, Duda Barbosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anton Björnberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Inter de Chillán's Marcel Wassermayer was substituted for Chen Feng Jian. Frente Revolucionario F.C made a substitution. Lorenzo Corral replaced Lorenzo Villalobos. Inter de Chillán's Eladio Araujo was substituted for Rickard Erserman. Américo Paredes made in the 67th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Inter de Chillán's Albino Zenteno. With splendid footwork Eladio Araujo arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-6 by the left pole in the game's 69th minute. Anton Björnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Totín Morris in the 72nd minute of play. After 73 played minutes Frente Revolucionario F.C got a freekick which was hit by Emil Swoboda. In the 74th match minute, Frente Revolucionario F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Swoboda to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Américo Paredes in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Inter de Chillán's Alfonso Sotta. Humberto Quirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eladio Araujo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Matxin came free, but Anton Björnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Quirós was a little too slow when Eladio Araujo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 1-7. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eladio Araujo in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Quirós saved Frente Revolucionario F.C from getting behind. Inter de Chillán's Anton Björnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duda Barbosa in the 91st minute of play. Eladio Araujo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Humberto Quirós read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Eladio Araujo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Inter de Chillán players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
