A collision led to Lake Mohawk FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Dan Feliciano hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Lake Mohawk FC's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Gherase had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Esposito. A hard shot 17 in the game by Alfredo Esposito from a close distance when the talented Lucrețiu Gherase managed to make a qualified save. Lake Mohawk FC's players were relieved. Demetrio Chiarelli hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute Wilson Gold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Ştiopul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sílvio Piola got free with Lucrețiu Gherase in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sílvio Piola scored 1-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucrețiu Gherase, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, SSC Special Eleven's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Feliciano came free, but Damian Ştiopul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Andreoli got free with Lucrețiu Gherase in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Lake Mohawk FC's Lucrețiu Gherase got control of the ball when Bruno Andreoli tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Lake Mohawk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Mauro came free, but Lucrețiu Gherase reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SSC Special Eleven's Damian Ştiopul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Myles Clearwater in the 34th minute of play. After 37 minutes Lake Mohawk FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Concetto Barberio who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, Lake Mohawk FC's Lucrețiu Gherase got control of the ball when Sílvio Piola tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Lucrețiu Gherase came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by SSC Special Eleven's Alfredo Esposito. But to his dismay, Alfredo Esposito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, SSC Special Eleven's Alfredo Esposito got a free kick in the 54th minute. Concetto Barberio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucrețiu Gherase. Lake Mohawk FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 62nd minute Alfredo Esposito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucrețiu Gherase saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfonso Mauro scored 3-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucrețiu Gherase, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Esposito in the 72nd minute of play forced Lake Mohawk FC's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Gherase to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Esposito in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucrețiu Gherase saved Lake Mohawk FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Esposito in the 76th minute of play forced Lake Mohawk FC's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Gherase to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th match minute, SSC Special Eleven was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Andreoli to maneuver through the defense. Damian Ştiopul made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Feliciano in the 79th minute. Damian Ştiopul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Preston Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Lake Mohawk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Mauro came free, but Lucrețiu Gherase reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of SSC Special Eleven booed when Lake Mohawk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wendell Dickerson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Concetto Barberio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucrețiu Gherase. Lake Mohawk FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 89 played minutes Lake Mohawk FC got a freekick which was hit by Davis Mabry. Damian Ştiopul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Gold, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. There was no doubt that SSC Special Eleven were the better team. SSC Special Eleven's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
