In the 2nd minute, Xurdin Villasinda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 3 minutes into the game, Xurdin Villasinda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hıdır Taykara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 8 minutes into the match, Gustavo Xandri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hıdır Taykara. Fenerbahçe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo Xandri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Fenerbahçe's zone, Xurdin Villasinda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hıdır Taykara came out of the goal and Xurdin Villasinda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Fernández Salinas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sezgin Arslanşah in the 14th minute of play forced CórdovaFC's goalkeeper Manuel Bonjoch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, CórdovaFC's Manuel Bonjoch got control of the ball when Ali Atıf Polathan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hıdır Taykara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Xandri's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Hıdır Taykara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xandro Carlos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the game, Behlül Uçbay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fenerbahçe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CórdovaFC the free kick. After 24 played minutes Fenerbahçe got a freekick which was hit by Behlül Uçbay. Manuel Bonjoch came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Fenerbahçe's Ertan Ucatekin. But to his dismay, Ertan Ucatekin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Zamora Grado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Hıdır Taykara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CórdovaFC's Manuel Bonjoch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neşat Öktürk in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, CórdovaFC's goal looked a bit too open when Neşat Öktürk came free, but Manuel Bonjoch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, CórdovaFC's Flavio Comillas got a free kick in the 38th minute. Neşat Öktürk kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Xandro Carlos got free with Hıdır Taykara in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zamora Grado kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Alpertunga Balbay might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Bonjoch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alpertunga Balbay ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, CórdovaFC's Gustavo Xandri got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Hıdır Taykara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xurdin Villasinda in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sezgin Arslanşah in the 71st minute of play forced CórdovaFC's goalkeeper Manuel Bonjoch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Bonjoch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ertan Ucatekin, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Manuel Bonjoch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sezgin Arslanşah in the 73rd minute of play. Xandro Carlos struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Hıdır Taykara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CórdovaFC. In the 80th minute, Ertan Ucatekin made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Bonjoch. CórdovaFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 83rd match minute, CórdovaFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Comillas to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the CórdovaFC defense, Ali Atıf Polathan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Bonjoch. The CórdovaFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Bonjoch should have stopped the shot. Mario Tarriba charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mario Tarriba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mario Tarriba kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Manuel Bonjoch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ertan Ucatekin in the 94th minute of the match. Fenerbahçe were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of CórdovaFC for a fine match.
