Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pilar FC's Rui Horta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe's Deniz Kuyas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Júlio Sampaio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Júlio Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deniz Kuyas, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Cevat Özkent stood somewhat misplaced when Rui Horta came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 8 minute. After 11 played minutes Fenerbahçe got a freekick which was hit by Kamuran Pekdeger. Rui Horta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Júlio Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deniz Kuyas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rui Hortas short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Cevat Özkent to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Albérico Jordão came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Pilar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albérico Jordão couldn't finish the play. Júlio Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Orhan İlcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute Deniz Kuyas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Rui Horta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cevat Özkent. The goal made the score 2-0. Ali Orhan İlcan scored 2-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Júlio Sampaio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sérgio Caeiro's late challenge caught a Fenerbahçe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sérgio Caeiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, Sérgio Caeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Fenerbahçe's Deniz Kuyas in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pilar FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Rui Horta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Deniz Kuyas to strike the kick off in the second half. Aldo Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cevat Özkent having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fenerbahçe fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! In the 54th minute there was a penalty for Pilar FC. Sebastião Rebelo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cevat Özkent. 3-1. With an all-out effort, Fenerbahçe's Júlio Sampaio threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Deniz Kuyas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Deniz Kuyas kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. If Rui Horta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Rui Horta made a precise shot to the right of Cevat Özkent. Fenerbahçe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After a defensive mix-up in Fenerbahçe's zone, Albérico Barroso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cevat Özkent came out of the goal and Albérico Barroso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rui Horta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 81 minutes, Albérico Jordão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pilar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albérico Jordão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aldo Freire hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute of the match Lefter Taşcan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Júlio Sampaio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 90th minute, Rui Horta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ali Orhan İlcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Sampaio having to interfere. If Rui Horta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Pilar FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
