The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Friedemann Faber was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Oberbillig's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bambisgris the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Oberbillig's Friedemann Faber got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Günther Heine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Abeita in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Bambisgris booed when FC Oberbillig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elia Sönksen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radolf Trumpf during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Oberbillig's Radolf Trumpf got a free kick in the 10th minute. Lars Oliver Pajewski charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lars Oliver Pajewski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes FC Oberbillig got a freekick which was hit by Lars Oliver Pajewski. Serafin Abaurre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Friedemann Faber in the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to Bambisgris getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Aureliano Donostia hit a great ball. Serafin Abaurre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Friedemann Faber in the 21st minute of play. Radolf Trumpf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Abaurre having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, FC Oberbillig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mirco Barges to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, FC Oberbillig's Jonas Deimann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafin Abaurre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lars Oliver Pajewski kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Anier Itzaina hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Radolf Trumpf made the kick off in the second half. Aureliano Donostia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Günther Heine having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Bambisgris's goalkeeper Serafin Abaurre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Deimann. In the 66th minute, Tobias Palos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aureliano Donostia kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. FC Oberbillig's Lars Oliver Pajewski shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Serafin Abaurre but with some difficulty. In the 80th minute, Aureliano Donostia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafin Abaurre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Friedemann Faber, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, Bambisgris's Blas Urtats got a free kick in the 86th minute. It was beautiful to see FC Oberbillig's Mirco Barges in action when he in the 88th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 90th minute, Aureliano Donostia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, FC Oberbillig's Lars Oliver Pajewski tried to score from far away in the 91st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Lorenzo Santio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Günther Heine having to make a save.
