Ezequiel do Valle came out of the goal and Ahmet Gündüz Karaoğlan tried to chip the ball over his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elói Ribeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Palestina got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Baptista. Abbas Özan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. İlbey Tokhan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. In the 62nd minute Abbas Özan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ezequiel do Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abbas Özan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 played minutes Meric got a freekick which was hit by Mümtaz Tekgül. After recieving a nice pass, Palestina's Aleandro Zilles tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Víktor Meirelles kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Abdurrahim Ünalmış sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Ezequiel do Valle threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Abdurrahim Ünalmış this time. When Çetin Necip came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Meric fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Çetin Necip couldn't finish the play. Ezequiel do Valle was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Abbas Özan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abbas Özan really showed his touch with that goal: 2-6. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İlbey Tokhan in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ezequiel do Valle saved Palestina from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, İlbey Tokhan put it in 2-7 from a short distance just to the right of Ezequiel do Valle. Palestina's Ezequiel do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İlbey Tokhan in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Vágner Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Palestina booed when Meric was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdurrahim Ünalmış didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ezequiel do Valle made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when İlbey Tokhan sent off a good shot on target. In the 93rd minute, Abbas Özan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ezequiel do Valle was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-8. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palestina's goalkeeper Ezequiel do Valle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Meric played a much better game than Palestina and deserved their victory. The Palestina players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
