Hıdır Taykara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İlbey Tokhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling İlbey Tokhan in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. The Meric fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Meric's İlbey Tokhan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe's Behlül Uçbay got a free kick in the 31st minute. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 3-5 when Behlül Uçbay sped through Meric's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kürşat Üçer. After having played for 81 minutes, Sezgin Arslanşah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenerbahçe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sezgin Arslanşah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hıdır Taykara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute of the match Mehmet Akif Yalaza shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hıdır Taykara showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 92 played minutes Fenerbahçe got a freekick which was hit by Neşat Öktürk. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, İlbey Tokhan put it in 3-6 from a short distance just to the right of Hıdır Taykara.
