Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eugenio Peio got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Carnerillo's zone, Rui Horta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabricio Nuñez came out of the goal and Rui Horta tried to chip the ball over his head. Fabricio Nuñez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Carnerillo's zone, Albérico Jordão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabricio Nuñez came out of the goal and Albérico Jordão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Rui Horta, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 13 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Fabricio Nuñez was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After having played for 15 minutes, Rui Horta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pilar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Horta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Camilo Gelacio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carnerillo's supporters rose to their feet, but Camilo Gelacio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Sampaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabricio Nuñez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Horta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carnerillo's Fabricio Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Horta in the 35th minute of play. Pilar FC's Júlio Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Peio in the 37th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rui Horta made a kick off. Rui Horta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Fabricio Nuñez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Campelo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Pilar FC's Rui Horta got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabricio Nuñez made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Rui Horta sent off a good shot on target. The referee felt a red card was in order, 70 minutes into the game, when Sérgio Caeiro put in a rough tackle. In the 70th minute, one of Pilar FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pilar FC. Pilar FC:s Júlio Sampaio showed great skill when he stopped Marcos Piarres:s penalty. If Aldo Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. Cristiano Balsemão scored 2-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabricio Nuñez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Homero Mota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albérico Barroso might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabricio Nuñez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albérico Barroso ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Albérico Jordão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pilar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albérico Jordão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabricio Nuñez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute, Aldo Freire reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fabricio Nuñez. The goal made the score 2-3. Aldo Freire's late challenge caught a Carnerillo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aldo Freire helped the player get up and apologised. Aldo Freire hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. The Carnerillo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pilar FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
