The Meric fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kürşat Üçer should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute, one of Meric:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Meric. Jesus Dalmu scored 2-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kürşat Üçer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Meric booed when Macataclasto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Bertol didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelino Petri got free with Kürşat Üçer in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the match, Victor Bertol notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Meric's Kürşat Üçer. Kürşat Üçer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ahmet Gündüz Karaoğlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Guib having to interfere. Angelino Petri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Kürşat Üçer made a huge save. When Çetin Necip came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Meric fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Çetin Necip couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Angelino Petri got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Kürşat Üçer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelino Petri in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute, Varol Yener hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Meric's Kürşat Üçer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Meric from getting a goal against them. Angelino Petri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Kürşat Üçer made a huge save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victor Bertol was the one to do the kick off. Kürşat Üçer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Petri in the 50th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Macataclasto FC's zone, Abbas Özan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidro Guib came out of the goal and Abbas Özan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 62 played minutes Meric got a freekick which was hit by Mümtaz Tekgül. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Gündüz Karaoğlan during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th minute, Ahmet Gündüz Karaoğlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 76 played minutes Meric got a freekick which was hit by Suphi Yumlu. After having played for 81 minutes, Ahmet Gündüz Karaoğlan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meric's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Gündüz Karaoğlan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isidro Guib made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Çetin Necip sent off a good shot on target. When Higinio Santo fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Macataclasto FC's protests and gave Higinio Santo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Macataclasto FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Higinio Santo hit a great ball. In the 87th match minute, Macataclasto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Kinsen to maneuver through the defense. Kürşat Üçer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Bertol, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Macataclasto FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
