Elói Ribeiro started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Gökhun Dölek dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ezequiel do Valle, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Hafız Safa put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ezequiel do Valle. When Víktor Meirelles fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palestina's protests and gave Víktor Meirelles a yellow card for diving instead. Víktor Meirelles hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Ezequiel do Valle was a little too slow when Ferit Yezid got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 3-0. Ezequiel do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferit Yezid in the 16th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Ezequiel do Valle successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Víktor Meirelles was shown his second yellow card after 20 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 21st minute, Víktor Meirelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hafız Safa in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ezequiel do Valle, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 29 minutes into the match, Hafız Safa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ezequiel do Valle. Palestina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hafız Safa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Vitório Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eyüp Oğuralp having to interfere. With 37 minutes on the clock, Abay Sağcan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fenerbahçe SK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

After 51 minutes of play, Palestina's Vitório Linhares made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eyüp Oğuralp was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 54th minute, Vitório Linhares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palestina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. Vitório Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 61 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe SK's goalkeeper Eyüp Oğuralp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Baptista. Hafız Safa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel do Valle having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe SK's Gökhun Dölek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ezequiel do Valle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Vitório Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hafız Safa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Palestina's goal looked a bit too open when Müslüm Akyıldız came free, but Ezequiel do Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe SK's Enginsu Uzma got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Ezequiel do Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hafız Safa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Müslüm Akyıldız's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ezequiel do Valle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. If Müslüm Akyıldız had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Hafız Safa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Palestina players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fenerbahçe SK.
