An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Dantas in the 9th minute of play forced A.D. Puente Cantalojas's goalkeeper Atauri Salan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Colombo A.C.'s Ricardinho Dantas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Atauri Salan. Atauri Salan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Atauri Salan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho Dantas in the 17th minute of play. The corner ended in Lauro Neiva almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but A.D. Puente Cantalojas's Atauri Salan did a great save. Colombo A.C.'s Ali Nejat Özertem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Camarasa in the 23rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardinho Dantas got free with Atauri Salan in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Colombo A.C.'s Ricardinho Dantas fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Colombo A.C.'s Ali Nejat Özertem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Swartenbroekx in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute Ricardinho Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atauri Salan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardinho Dantas struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Atauri Salan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombo A.C.. 39 minutes into the match, Colombo A.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Bart Brandie came free, but Ali Nejat Özertem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Carlos Camarasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ali Nejat Özertem was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Atauri Salan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The supporters of A.D. Puente Cantalojas booed when Colombo A.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şehzade Faydalı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Puente Cantalojas getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Roberto-Carlos Rocha hit a great ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
