Iker Madrid was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Casimiro Ugutz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iker Madrid was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. After 21 minutes Celestiales's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Casimiro Ugutz who took care of the corner kick. In the 38th minute Jiang Sha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicky Donda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Casimiro Ugutz to make the kick off. Vicky Donda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiang Sha, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 59th minute, Nouvelle Vague's Casimiro Ugutz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Celestiales's Albano Millan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hugo Villaverde, made in the 64th minute of the game. Vicky Donda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Celestiales's zone, Casimiro Ugutz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iker Madrid came out of the goal and Casimiro Ugutz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nouvelle Vague's Luis Henrico was substituted for Casimiro Ugutz. In the 81st minute, Eustaquio Eudoxio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicky Donda was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Nouvelle Vague's Vicky Donda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jiang Sha in the 84th minute of play. Vicky Donda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jiang Sha in the 87th minute of play. If Luis Henrico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Henrico in the 90th minute of play forced Celestiales's goalkeeper Iker Madrid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes in the game Hugo Villaverde did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Osmar Vale. 95 minutes into the match, Luis Henrico notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Celestiales's Iker Madrid. Iker Madrid was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Nouvelle Vague had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
