In the 7thth minute of the game Alfonso Goicoechea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Gottfrid Hedström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pablo Solari's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gottfrid Hedström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 江轩南 was slow to take the kick. During this time Cervezanegra A.C.'s players had a chance to rest. With a little luck, Cervezanegra A.C.'s Filiberto Oso got control of the ball when Ertan Duman tried to sneak it across the goal line. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Ray Atkins managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kaisar Sözer in the 19 minute of the game. Gottfrid Hedström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Solari in the 21st minute of play. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Gottfrid Hedström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Goicoechea in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Kaisar Sözer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filiberto Oso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ertan Duman in the 33rd minute of play. Tadeo Rainerio made in the 45th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Pablo Solari. In the 47th minute, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Ertan Duman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfonso Goicoechea was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Goicoechea came free, but Gottfrid Hedström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Cao Jun Yan was substituted for Fotis Theofilopoulos. In the 64th minute of the game Kaisar Sözer made a throw-in which 江轩南 played forward. Filiberto Oso came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Besim Vecdet. But to his dismay, Besim Vecdet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Cervezanegra A.C. made a substitution. Narciso Ederono replaced Dževad Kasimović. When Tassos Poulakis came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tassos Poulakis couldn't finish the play. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Gottfrid Hedström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Goicoechea in the 94th minute of play.

The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cervezanegra A.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
