Borys Gruchacz came out and tried to block the shot, but Chiquito Flores slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. Mané Lara struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Agustín Rossi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joinville United - FSCMZ. Dario Guib sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Oliver Petersson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Borys Gruchacz, 2-0. A collision led to Rebelution getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Camilo Leocadio hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Rebelution's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Lara came free, but Agustín Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dario Guib got free with Borys Gruchacz in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Borys Gruchacz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dario Guib. Aquiles Telmo made in the 37th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Chiquito Flores. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Borys Gruchacz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Petersson in the 40th minute of play. Borys Gruchacz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Petersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mané Lara was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Rebelution's Agustín Rossi got control of the ball when Mané Lara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Agustín Rossi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Rebelution's Agustín Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alesandro Coutinho in the 85th minute of play. Agustín Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alesandro Coutinho in the 93rd minute of the match. Prospero Perfecto charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prospero Perfecto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
